Welcome to Vortex Esports ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparent information on how we handle information across our tournament management platform.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Vortex Esports as an organizer or player, we may collect:

Account Details: Name, Email address, and Gamer UID (In-Game Name/UID).
Tournament Data: Squad names, player roster lineups, match standings, and custom room schedules.
Payment Reference Details: Submitted 12-digit UPI UTR numbers and receipt verification references for entry fee auditing.

2. Google API Data & Gmail Readonly Access

🔒 Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Vortex Esports uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly scope exclusively for tournament organizers who voluntarily connect their Google accounts.

How we use Google Data:

Specific Purpose: We read incoming transactional bank/UPI payment alert emails (from FamApp/FamPay [no-reply@famapp.in, alerts@famapp.in], PhonePe [noreply@phonepe.com], Google Pay [payments-noreply@google.com], Paytm [alerts@paytm.com], SBI [alerts@sbi.co.in], HDFC [alerts@hdfcbank.net], ICICI, Axis, Kotak) to extract the 12-digit UTR reference code and credit amount.
Limited Scope: We do NOT read, store, or process personal emails, contacts, attachments, or private communications.
No Data Sharing: We do NOT transfer, sell, or disclose Google user data to any third parties or advertisers.
Compliance: Vortex Esports' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Data Storage & Security

All database records are securely stored via encrypted Supabase PostgreSQL instances with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be disconnected by organizers at any time with a single click.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

Users have the right to request deletion of their account data, tournament history, and OAuth connections at any time by contacting developer support.
